Over the past three decades, working both in the client and agency environments within strategy and operations, I have seen the power and dysfunction of outside consulting and in-house talent relationships. This insight has driven me to create RE: Source, where the talents of the client and consultancy can work together in harmony, optimizing the best of each other’s expertise. In my career path I have “collected” sources across many industries, who are recognized for their innovation and leadership in their verticals. The one common denominator is they all have a passion for solving the business puzzle that can take clients to the next level of competitiveness.
Tricia Snyder Lewis, the originator and principal of RE: Source, is a leadership professional and creative thinker who utilizes her background in planning, marketing and operations to build integrated marketing solutions for organizations. She has worked in both client and consultancy roles, giving her a unique understanding for how to develop internal and external processes for building strong brand cultures.
Her healthcare background includes provider, payor, pharmaceutical, medical devices and associations. Working with clients like Pfizer, Tap, Baxter, Sandoz Nutrition, American Heart Association, American Arthritis Foundation, American Dietetic Association, OU Medicine, Penn Medicine, Presence Health, Rush System for Health, Adventist Midwest Health, HSHS Medical Group, and Prairie Heart Insititute.
In education, she has built programs for enrollment of students in two-year, four-year and continuing educational curriculums. Some of her clients included Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Loyola University School of Law, Harper College and Mount Carmel College of Nursing.
Within the financial sector, she has experience on both the client and agency side working in banking, brokerage, insurance, housing & retail developments, and credit union environments. While in these businesses, she has handled everything from product development and promotion, special events, community and media relations, internal communications, brand activation and retail environmental branding. Some of her experience includes Inland Bank & Trust, Charter One, Midwest Federal Credit Union and INVEST.
Before merging her own boutique agency in 2000 with the agency BVK to create their Chicago office, she began to integrate her love of operational process into strengthening the development of client brand programs. During this time, she added to her experience tourism, technology and start-ups. Some her clients included DuPage and Oakbrook board of Tourism, Northern Telecom and the Chicago Auto Association.
Relevant Outside Experience
Outside of Tricia’s work life, she has been very active in volunteer and board positions within governance and development. Most recently, she holds and has held appointed positions with Advocate Charitable Foundation, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and the Advocate Aurora Good Samaritan Development Council. Adding to her experience an understanding of what is necessary to gain Magnet, Malcomb Baldrige and other accreditations.
She is the currently chairing of the Board of Lutheran Church Charities, an organization supporting projects for those in need in the US and Aboard (most known for the Comfort Dogs and Disaster Relief programs nationally). All these roles have taught her nuances of fundraising, operations and positioning in the non-for-profit world.
